proud to announce that on November 21, 2008, after months of
collaboration, Liam's Room signed a formal contract with Overlook
Hospital in Summit, NJ
On Friday, May 15, 2009, we officially "cut the ribbon" and opened the 1st ever Liam's Room.
The Overlook Foundation has stated that Liam’s Room will serve as the "CROWN JEWEL" of
the hospital’s emerging pediatric palliative care program.In addition, we have funded the attendance of
Overlook medical staff for a conference focused on advancing Pediatric
Palliative Care.We are extremely
excited about these latest developments and will keep you informed as Liam’s
Room continues to become a reality.
Although tremendous progress has been made to date, your continued
support is vital in allowing us to continue to provide resources to families
and children who benefit from pediatric palliative care. In addition, Liam’s Room is committed to
expanding our mission through the construction of future Liam’s Rooms at additional
locations.Every donation received has a
direct and positive impact on the care and support of children, and their
families, as they struggle with chronic conditions and potentially life
threatening illnesses.
